Coffee Quality Control Employee

Quality and sustainability are the cornerstones of our policy. Our current activities encompass coffee trading, cacao trading, and their associated logistics.

Your Role:

You will oversee the quality of batches of green coffee. This involves receiving samples, conducting necessary tests, and verifying results according to prevailing quality and food safety standards. You will provide advice to the trade department as needed.


Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and precise execution of analyses in accordance with procedures and regulations
  • Organization of the laboratory
  • Implementation of the quality system
  • Active role in the HACCP food safety team
  • Suggestions for continuous improvement of the laboratory
  • Active participation in IFS policy and audits
  • Daily roasting, grinding, brewing, and tasting of coffee samples
  • Receipt, dispatch, and registration of samples in the ERP system
  • Monitoring of samples in transit, with communication to customers and suppliers
  • Management of the coffee library (scanning, storage, disposal)
  • Quality analysis of green coffee (moisture content, screen size, presence of OTA, etc.)
  • Verification of product specifications (odor, appearance, taste) and advice to traders
  • Coordination with external laboratories for outsourced analyses
  • Recording of analysis results in the ERP system
  • Follow-up on quality claims
  • Ensuring compliance with required quality standards in the laboratory (ISO and IFS standards)
  • Maintenance of external analysis classification
  • Reporting to the Quality Manager
