We are looking for a ‘SALES REPRESENTATIVE’ to join our team

Cuprima is a specialty coffee sourcing, importing & distribution company headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium.
We work directly with producers at the origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) high quality specialty coffees safely, on-time and consistentlyWe believe in traceability, transparency and sustainability throughout the chain, and are highly committed to creating a positive economic, social and environmental impact for our partner-farmers.

For our sales department we are looking for a specialty coffee representative to work closely with craft coffee roasters to select their coffee, building strong partnerships together.

ABOUT THE ROLE – What you’ll do?

Sales & Community-wise

  • Actively maintaining and developing customer relationships (via phone, e-mail, visits, cuppings, ..) in order to increase sales & business opportunities across diverse geographies and cultures.
    • Prospecting & following up on new leads
    • Working towards developing new business opportunities with the current client base by providing quality advice and product, market & price info. Assist In active sales via phone conversations & e-mails.
  • Following up closely offers, samples, orders, deliveries and after-sales
  • Taking care of all the prospect & customer related admin (from initial contact to after-sales and from coordinates to contracts and timings) in CRM
  • Participating in training opportunities on products, services and skill building
  • Creating a loyal ‘Coffee Community’ by representing Cuprima towards clients in global specialty coffee cuppings, events & fairs.


Quality-wise

  • Actively maintaining Cuprima’s quality standards from origin to roasteries
    • Collaborating with the quality team: selecting and approving coffee samples in line with the SCA protocol
    • Preparing & sending samples to prospects & customers

Marketing-wise

  • Creating a loyal ‘Coffee Community’ by effectively communicating Cuprima’s message, concept & products to customers & prospects through different channels (visits, e-mail, telephone, social media platforms, ..)
  • Actively maintaining the product related data base (info sheets, images,..)

ABOUT YOU – What are we looking for?

 

Coffee Aficionado

  • Highly interested in the coffee industry, experience with specialty coffee market is a + but not mandatory
  • Passionate about craft food and authentic & sustainable coffee
  • Possessing a good set of tasting skills ( Q-grader is a + but not mandatory)


Sales Tiger

  • Having experience in a B2B sales environment for minimum 3 years
  • Strong initiative taker with the ability to form mutually beneficial relationships
  • Problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions for customers
  • Good communication skills – verbal & non-verbal. Fluent in both spoken and written English (A1) is required – you will be communicating with colleagues and customers worldwide. Multi languages are a +
  • Computer savvy & able to deal with various software packages
  • Possessing a global mindset – a natural talent for building relationships with clients across regions and cultures, willing to travel


Team Player

  • Having a good team spirit. No Rock Stars here, our customers are our stars
  • Possessing a respectful, natural, open & loyal mindset
  • Multi-tasking, taking initiative, and a hands-on approach come in naturally
