Inkono Muramba

Burundi: Muyinga

Butihinda washing station was built in 1992 at Butihinda hill to shorten the long journey that coffee farmers used to take during the year of 80s. This honey lot is a first at Butihinda washing station and part of a project called Inkono. Depulped cherries are placed into traditional pottery for fermentation. The objective behind the project is to contribute to the social development of local partners.
