PURPOSE
- Create 4 model primary schools to deliver quality education services to over 2,000 children
- Improve the infrastructure
- Develop capacity of teachers
- Establish sustainable income generating activities
- Improve the awareness level of coffee farming communities on education
- Enhance the skills of over 3,500 community members to provide children with access to schooling
- Improve knowledge and skills of students on sustainable and qualitative coffee management by tutorial classes and practical teaching in coffee demonstrative units
- Foster self-sustaining models for income generation in the schools
This project is possible thanks to the support of AFSR, Fero, Peeze, and EFICO/KURU and runs from October 2018 to June 2022.
