Congo: Kivu, Idjwi Island

Bahavu is grown on the island of Idjwi on Lake Kivu at an altitude ranging from 1460 to 2000 meters. After being carefully handpicked, the beans are set to dry covered on African beds for 14 to 21 days, thus giving the coffee both a smooth chocolate body and a sweet berry tones.
