Nicaragua: Madriz

Rio Coco is grown in the department of Madriz in the district of San Juan del Rio Coco at an altitude ranging from 1200 to 1350 meters. After being carefully handpicked, the beans are dried under roofs, thus giving the coffee a sweet fragrance, an aroma with vanilla notes, fine acidity and strong body and refined caramelized sugar notes with a raisin aftertaste.
