PURPOSE

  • Alleviate poverty by diversifying farmer family income (honey and honey products)
  • Increasing cross-pollination in coffee, which boosts coffee yields as well as coffee quality
  • Empowerment of women in family income generation
  • Providing bee-hives and bee-keeping training
  • Increase food security and ecosystem functionality of the coffee forests
  • Enable conservation of local biodiversity (trees, orchids, birds, primates)
