Nicaragua SHG Olomega
Colibri SHG Olomega and Olomega Supreme are produced by a small farmers’ Association belonging to the Chorotega indigenous community: Aldea Coffee.
The word "Olomega" comes from the indigenous term Olomeka which means "carry in one's arms".
Olomega was a village inhabited by the Chorotega indigenous community, nowadays also known as Aldea Coffee.
In Aldea Coffee's logo, the link with Olomega is still clear via the petroglyph.
