The overall objective of this project is to improve the quality of life of 220 students in Erandique, Lempira, Honduras. This through education, school kits, food kits, as well as implementing educational and corrective actions in hygienic habits, de-parasitizing and the provision of vitamin supplements.
THE FUTURE OF COFFEE ∙ WORLD COFFEE RESEARCH MULTI-LOCATION VARIETY TRIAL
13 On-Farm Technology Trials (OFTT) are established in Honduras and Guatemala to allow farmers to experience the impact of investing in new technologies, related to improved varieties and climate-smart agronomic practices.
BACHELORS IN COFFEE ∙ FOLLOW-UP PROJECT
At the Las Flores Coffee School in Santa Rosa, Guatemala, 5 students are trained to graduate with a Coffee High School diploma and to become agents of economic and social development. Leadership and entrepreneurial training, with respect for spirituality and cultural identity are key pillars in the curriculum.
WATER PURIFICATION FOR SAFE CONSUMPTION BY THE COFFEE COMMUNITY
The long-term financial success and well-being of any family begins with a good health. In Santa Rosa and Jalapa, Guatemala, this project provides about 370 coffee farmer partner families with water filters, having a direct positive impact on their daily lives.
HEALTHY LIVING AND A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR THE COFFEE COMMUNITY
The overall objective of this project is to improve the quality of life of 50 coffee producing families in Honduras through the development of local capacities for healthy homes and healthy families. Through a ‘Healthy Family Plan’ and training, knowledge and skills are developed for a healthier behavior and self-health family care.
PROVIDING HEALTHY HOME KITS TO RURAL FAMILIES
The overall objective of this project is the sustainable development of the El Conacaste community through the provision of housing solutions, educational trainings, and partnership with the COCODE, strengthening the capacity for the successful implementation of future community projects.
IMPROVED WET MILL FACILITIES OF SMALLHOLDER COFFEE FARMERS
The overall objective is to build a coffee wet mill which will both improve coffee quality and reduce water consumption by 60%.

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AND QUALITY EDUCATION AS A DRIVER FOR WOMEN SMALLHOLDER COFFEE PRODUCERS AND YOUTH
The overarching goal of this project is to improve livelihood opportunities of youngsters and women smallholder coffee producers of San Rafael Pie de la Cuesta villages and communities by knowledge transfer and access to quality education.
SCHOLARSHIPS, SCHOOL MAINTENANCE, VEGETABLE GARDENS AND EDIBLE MUSHROOMS FOR THE “EL PLATANILLO” COMMUNITY
This project is a continuation of the 3-year project ‘Education, food production gardens and wood efficient stoves for “El Platanillo” family workers’ and aims at continuing to support the education of students in the El Platanillo community.
