The Q cupping Essentials is a brand-new course in the Q program offered by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI).

It is a certificate course which is specifically designed to be taken by a broad range of people who are interested in building their skills for evaluating coffee, consistent with a globally recognized standard for Specialty Coffee. This could extend from baristas, coffee shop owners, and coffee executives to home enthusiasts, coffee industry workers and others. 

This is a 3-day course where participants will begin building the skills of a professional cupper and/or as preparation of the Q Grader Certification. There will be tests given throughout the 3 days and those participants passing the exams will receive a Q Cupping Essentials Certificate, which is valid for 6 years.
