Aquiares Estate – Centroamericano Natural
Costa Rica: Cartago
Aquiares is one of Costa Rica’s most historic coffee estates, located on the fertile slopes of the Turrialba Volcano between the Aquiares and Turrialba rivers. Founded in 1890, the farm became known for producing high-quality washed coffees and helped establish Costa Rica’s reputation in international coffee markets.
Whole coffee cherries are dried with the fruit fully intact, allowing the sugars and fruit compounds to develop around the seed throughout the drying stage, resulting in enhanced sweetness, body, and fruitforward complexity in the cup.
