Established as a private foundation in 2003, the EFICO Foundation aims to positively impact coffee farmers’ environment, prosperity and livelihoods.

The EFICO Foundation is about PEOPLE: from coffee farmers, their families and local communities to coffee roasters and coffee lovers.

By supporting scalable high-impact projects at origin alongside coffee roasters and institutional partners, we set a positive ripple effect in motion. Through strategic public-private partnerships and multi-stakeholder collaboration, we create lasting positive change across the coffee supply chain.

We openly report and share learnings on more than 90 projects across 18 coffee-producing countries, each independently evaluated to ensure long-term impact. 100% of every contribution goes directly to the EFICO Foundation projects.
