Nicaragua SHG Rainforest Alliance Forest Positive Coffee
Appreciated for its pronounced acidity, subtle flavors and its sweetness, this well-balanced coffee is of excellent quality. EFICO has partnered with Aldea Coffee, Acorn/Rabobank, and Plan Vivo to link coffee farming with carbon sequestration. Together, we are transforming coffee production in Nicaragua by combining agroforestry practices with access to voluntary carbon markets. This collaboration supports smallholder farmers, enhances the environment, and contributes to carbon neutrality into our own coffee value chain. Aldea Coffee and EFICO have enjoyed a longstanding partnership, collaborating to bring responsibly sourced green coffee to the global market. Our relationship goes beyond coffee trading, with the support of Fúndacion Aldea and the EFICO Foundation driving initiatives that improve farmer livelihoods and foster environmental stewardship.
