Finca La Colonia y Arroyo is grown in the Rancho de Arriba municipality in the San José de Ocoa region at an altitude ranging from 1250 to 1420 meters above the sea level. After being handpicked, the cherries are depulped, fermented, dried under the sun and finished in machines, which results in a coffee with a sweet brown sugar taste and tobacco notes.
