PURPOSE

Create an environmentally conscious coffee culture for rural families in Bolivia living in the buffer zone of the Amboro National Park, as a production alternative for their sustainable development. This required the creation of a comprehensive alliance that included private and public stakeholders, producers and civil society as well as empowered coffee producer organizations.

PHASES:

  1. Identify processes with better access to markets
  2. Create new certified, small coffee farms
  3. Strengthen the organization and its strategic alliances

This project was possible thanks to the support of Bevrijde Wereld, CEPAC, AGRICABV and the EFICO Foundation and ran from 2006 to 2008.
