PURPOSE

  • Generate a change in rural education programs for coffee growing regions.
  • Provide appropriate infrastructure: computer lab and dining hall.
  • Children will acquire key technical knowledge on coffee production and the needed skills to manage their business.
  • Teach basic bilingual education (Spanish-English); training on the use of computers and food safety.

This project was possible thanks to the support of FNC, Coffee Growers Committee of Santander, COLRUYT GROUP and the EFICO Foundation and ran from 2004 and 2008.
