KILIMANJARO WATER AND FOOD FOR ALL

By increasing water efficiency and reducing risks along the coffee & food value chains, Kilimanjaro Water & Food for All will improve living conditions for 2,700+ families. It deploys an innovative, comprehensive and scalable model for water management & regenerative agriculture to speed productivity recovery, secure rural water and maize seeds supply, reducing CO2 emissions through best irrigation and water use practices linked to water stewardship in 2 farms in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.

PROMOTION OF AND EDUCATION FOR HEALTHY SCHOOL CHILDREN ∙ FOLLOW-UP

The overall objective of this project is to improve the quality of life of 150 students in El Pinal, Copan, Honduras. This through education, adding new nutritional components to the school lunch menu, improving the conditions of the kitchen area and tools of the school lunch, implementing a sustainable school garden as well as educational and corrective actions in hygienic habits, de-parasitizing and the provision of vitamin supplements.

HEALTHY HOMES IN OLOPA, CHIQUIMULA

This project's objective is to improve the living conditions and health of 85 smallholder coffee families in El Bendito and Los Vasquez of Olopa Guatemala, through the implementation of 116 housing solutions in 3 years' time. This will include smokeless stoves, concrete floors, rainwater harvesting systems and reinforcement capacities through capacity building training.

A NEW GENERATION OF COFFEE ENTREPRENEURS, COMMITTED TO PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY

The project aims to continue impacting the coffee regions of the Santander department in Colombia, encouraging 100 young students from rural schools to establish coffee crops based on productivity, profitability and quality criteria; coffee crops with adequate agronomic management that allow developing scalable and sustainable coffee enterprises.

ENTREPRENEURS IN ACTION ∙ SECOND FOLLOW-UP PROJECT BACHELORS IN COFFEE

At the Las Flores Coffee School in Santa Rosa, Guatemala, 4 students are trained to graduate with a Coffee High School diploma and to become agents of economic and social development. Leadership and entrepreneurial training, with respect for spirituality and cultural identity are key pillars in the curriculum.

EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY EMPOWERING YOUTH

The overarching goal of this project is to promote quality education and long-term opportunities for 159 youngsters and children in the El Platanillo community in San Marcos, Guatemala. By graduating more youngsters with a good education level and by promoting the use of technological devices, increased access to matching job opportunities is stimulated.
