ENTREPRENEURS IN ACTION: 4TH BACHELORS IN COFFEE PROJECT

At the Las Flores Coffee School in Santa Rosa, Guatemala, 4 students are trained to graduate with a Coffee High School diploma and to become agents of economic and social development. Leadership and entrepreneurial training, with respect for spirituality and cultural identity are key pillars in the curriculum.

SOLAR PANELS FOR COOPERATIVA NUEVO SENDERO

By installing 32 solar panels with 120 cells each in the wet mill, the objective of this project is to support the Nuevo Sendero cooperative in the generation of clean electric energy for its wet mill and water pump in Nueva Santa Rosa, Guatemala. The solar panels will significantly reduce the coffee cooperative's CO2 footprint. This installation marks a major step forward in the cooperative's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

KILIMANJARO WATER AND FOOD FOR ALL

By increasing water efficiency and reducing risks along the coffee & food value chains, Kilimanjaro Water & Food for All will improve living conditions for 2,700+ families. It deploys an innovative, comprehensive and scalable model for water management & regenerative agriculture to speed productivity recovery, secure rural water and maize seeds supply, reducing CO2 emissions through best irrigation and water use practices linked to water stewardship in 2 farms in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.  

HEALTHY HOMES IN OLOPA, CHIQUIMULA

This project's objective is to improve the living conditions and health of 85 smallholder coffee families in El Bendito and Los Vasquez of Olopa Guatemala, through the implementation of 116 housing solutions in 3 years' time. This will include smokeless stoves, concrete floors, rainwater harvesting systems and reinforcement capacities through capacity building training.
